About this initiative

All Boston restaurants need to restrict operations to takeout and delivery until April 6, 2020. In support of local restaurants, the City installed temporary takeout food pickup zones by request throughout Boston. Takeout food pickup zones restrict parking to five minutes to increase convenience for the quick pickup and delivery of takeout food from restaurants and provide adequate room for social distancing of six feet or more.
