Denver’s Regional Transportation District asks passengers to wear masks

Denver’s Regional Transportation District (RTD) is asking its riders to wear masks or face coverings in accordance with Governor Jared Polis’ order. All of the agency's bus and rail operators are required to wear masks as well. RTD follows the Guidelines for Public Transportation Providers issued by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). RTD has also implemented rear-door boarding and exiting, suspended fare collection, roped off the area near drivers and the wheelchair securement area, limited vehicle capacity and reduced service to respond to more utilized routes.
