About this initiative
The municipality of Rotterdam decided to prolong the time traffic lights are green for pedestrians and cyclists. This provides more space for these mobility groups and waiting queues in front of crossings are reduced. Pedestrians and cyclists also do not have to press buttons anymore with these measures.
