Policy paper on COVID-19 and the public transport industry

Flone Initiative partnered with the Social Just Public Transport working group, hosted by Friedrich-EbertStiftung (FES-Kenya), which brings together civil society organizations, labor unions, academicians, and government officials to develop a policy paper on COVID-19 and the public transport industry. This policy paper was submitted to the National Emergency Response Team. This team drew various government agencies to coordinate Kenyaʼs preparedness, prevention, and response to the threat of the coronavirus. Flone Initiative also developed a policy paper on COVID-19 and Women Professionals in the Kenyan public transport industry.
