The Israeli Ministry of Transport and Road Safety took actions for ensuring biosafety for commuters using Israel's public transport following lockdowns due to COVID-19 . To enable safe and sterile payments, the installation of new payment validators was accelerated. Additionally, special barriers were installed on buses to help drivers and passengers maintain a physical distance.
