About this initiative
Morocco uses drones from Chinese manufacturer DJI to issue warnings, identify suspicious movement, break up illegal gatherings and provide sanitization during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the town of Temara, authorities used Beti3D’s aerial surveillance system. Morocco's International University of Rabat is allowing authorities to access its facilities, expertise, and prototypes in March to deploy drones with loudspeakers or infrared cameras.
