About this initiative

The Taxi & Limousine Commission of New York City asks cab drivers to sign up for a new program, DeliveryTLC, in an effort to help licensed cab drivers replace lost trips. The city will pay drivers $15 per hour to deliver food to seniors during the COVID-19 outbreak and reimburse them for gas, tolls, and mileage. The food delivery program is supported by staff from the National Guard.
