About this initiative
Rockland City Council unanimously approved closing the city's Main Street to vehicle traffic for the month of June to help local restaurants and businesses recover from the pandemic. Businesses in the downtown zone, including restaurants and retail, will be allowed to extend their operations onto directly adjacent sidewalks.
