Updates to automatic pedestrian traffic signals

Brisbane City Council has automatically triggered pedestrian traffic signals within high demand areas to help prevent the transmission of coronavirus. This means pedestrians do not need to press the button when crossing the road. This has been implemented twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week at various intersections. Educational stickers have been put in place on traffic poles in many of these locations to notify residents and visitors.
